J. A. Uren is using her Cornish maiden name here as a tribute to her family roots. In 2025 she produced a collection of original ghost stories influenced by local history, sales of which support the renovation of her village hall. She spends a lot of time roaming windswept cliffs on the Lizard Peninsula.
